I resonate so much with wanting to rush to talk to a friend instead of sitting with God! I’ve been trying to go to him first and I really do hear more of His gentle whispers!! Here’s to more of that!

“It’s always His gentle voice!” What a good Father we have! I’m learning that time spent with the Lord is the most life-giving thing I can do in my day, not a task I can check off to show my productivity or something I can achieve or try to control, but simply listening to His Word, pouring my heart out, and resting in His presence. Thank you for sharing this!
