I've been pondering the “yes” of the season. How a yes to Jesus changes our lives so profoundly and how every yes to Him is most glorious and a no to all the things that keep us from the life He came to give us. So, ... “Yes” to stillness, to beholding Him, to experiencing the infinite love, and breath. For He is my very breath. Blessings, sweet Sister🙏🏾🌸
Thank you, I share what’s on my heart that God gives me. It’s not fancy but I hope God can use my words. You always have such eloquent words and responses and speak with such grace. I adore you, sweet friend!
Words of the heart are from the Spirit, fragrant with the Lord Himself. They are real ponderings and so beautiful friend. It is why I so thoroughly enjoy reading them🙏🏾.
Brooke, I'm with you. Change is hard! We love the familiar, we love the cozy predictable. But that God never changes like shifting shadows is such a great gift, a true encouragement in our lives.
He already knows the future. We like that, don't we . . .
And I can only imagine that couple was deeply content, traveling in what we now see as simplicity.
Change is never easy, and it often brings unexpected emotions and challenges. But I believe it also invites us to step beyond our comfort zones and discover parts of life, and ourselves, we might have otherwise missed.
Oh I’m so glad to hear this! Change does indeed help us discover things about ourselves and this wonderful world God has created! Thanks for reading and commenting, Shenica! ♥️
Brooke! This was beautiful to read. It felt like sipping my hot coffee on a cold rainy day. I loved all the connections you made; from an ordinary travel, to a historical one, to a Son that changed the world forever. Change is difficult, I'm at the cusp of one, and even more than new people and new places, it's the painful adjustments of starting again from scratch. However, it's in the changing phases of life that we grow and develop character.
Thanks be to our unchanging God who guides us through all the changing scenes of life.
