What a beautiful blessing to cherish them when they are small and then to experience the lengthening of joy as the years unfold. To look into the faces of their older selves and see the story God has been writing all along. How they grow, how they change, and how grace faithfully meets every moment in between🙏🏾💛
Oh my goodness, I don't have kids yet but I'm already thinking how fast time flies. I try to train myself to be more present now and less chained to a task-tunnel-vision so that when the time comes I'll be able to be more present in those times of "distractions." Lovely reminder, my friend!
I can certainly attest to this! All my kids were married and out of the house within a year and a half of each other. My son still talks about when he was little and we spent those precious times together! Such a tear jerker of a post, in a good way! It brought back so much! 🥹
Hi Laura! Oh my goodness, all out the door within 18 months, that’s a lot to process for a mama’s heart! But it’s all good! Life keeps going and growing! I’m thankful for you reading and leaving such a nice comment. Glad you’re here! 💕
I am not a parent but still find the poem deep and powerful.
Thank you, that means a lot, Erin.
So beautiful, Brooke! Amazing how quickly the years fly by, but now enjoying this season of the children our children give us! 💝 Very precious post!!
Aw, thank you for reading and commenting with such kindness. Thank you, Cheryl!

It does! I’m looking forward to the next chapter. But in the meantime, I am grateful for what God is doing! ❤️. So glad we cross paths here! 🤗
