What a great reminder in a simple act of kindness...I want to do this more with my kids, I think it's something they would remember forever and comes with a very impressionable message behind it. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Brooke! What a very good story and message. I am sure I have done this to God, or rather to myself in missing out on blessings due to impatience.

His time extends further and further than ours and I am inspired to be a better liver in the wait of life!

Great message, Brooke. I love the title.. "If They Had Known, They Wouldn't Have Left."

It makes me think of the story of the miner who was 3 feet from gold when he quit. It makes sense to wait things out and not to give up too soon.

Orla, thank you for reading and commenting! I’m glad you liked the title and message, that is so nice to hear and get feedback. Yes, the miner is another good example.

We can’t grow impatient. God has great things in store for us!
