I love how you pointed out that Zacchaeus ran towards Jesus, dismissing the social norms just so he could be near Him. That's such a beautiful posture of neediness for God. Thanks for sharing this!

Hi Brooke, this piece was so good. I often dismiss the well-known Bible passages, or skim over them because it feels like I know them so well. You however have pointed out some really good takeaways. Especially, how desperately do I/we want Jesus? Will we run to him? Will he climb a tree? Will we do What society thinks is crazy?
